A game in Baku usually means a tournament: the clubs on this list play in rented halls, malls and sports complexes rather than in an open room with a fixed evening. Chessbattle, Bahruz Chess Club, Şah Klub, Alina Chess Club and ŞAH&mat klubu enter events on the server through the year, and AK Chess School opens its numbered Tempo rapids to players who register.

Estesna Chess & Coffee Shop on Feyruz Hacılı küçəsi in Yasamal is the one café with chess here; its tournament of August 2026 asked players to register beforehand. The federation’s opens and championships are listed too, as a rated player may enter some of them. The giant board on Azneft Square and the pieces on the Seaside Boulevard come from a 2019 guide and an undated tourism page; nothing newer shows them in use, so both entries stay unconfirmed.
